SGNA is seeking volunteers with relative subject matter expertise to serve on a task force to research GI population health issues and identify areas of focus in developing GI population health education. Activities include:
On Thursday, October 20 at 6:00 p.m. CT, Frank Daniels, MSHA CFER CER AGTS, Linda Daniels, GTS AGTS CFER, and Kim Gallub, MSN RN CGRN will present "Finding Common Ground in Endoscope Reprocessing: A Panel Discussion." Upon successful completion, participants can earn up to 1.00 contact hour. Contact hours have also been approved by ABCGN, CBSPD, and HSPA.
The Empowering Diversity in the GI Profession Scholarship is a scholarship program intended to increase diversity and inclusion within the GI profession. This scholarship provides financial support to SGNA members from underrepresented racial and ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations and or/those who have been impacted by disability.

SGNA is seeking volunteers with relative subject matter expertise to serve on a work group for the revision of the SGNA Associates Program. The Associates Program provides learners with the core knowledge of the GI/endoscopy specialty and work setting.
The targeted revision cycle for this online educational program is anticipated to run from August 2022 to February 2023 and require approximately 10-12 hours/month.
During the program revision, subject matter experts are expected to do the following:
SGNA is soliciting volunteers with relevant subject matter expertise to serve as speakers for the GI/Endoscopy Nursing Review Course and CGRN Exam Essentials Course as offered by SGNA. The deadline to submit your application is August 12, 2022.
